In der Schweiz werden die Ausbildungen, die zur Zertifizierung durch die EBTA (European BobathTutors Association) führen von der Schweizerischen Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Kurse in Entwicklungsneurologischer Therapie (ENT) nach Bobath (SAKENT/ASEND) organisiert:
Diese Ausbildungen richten sich an Physiotherapeut:innen, Ergotherapeut:innen, Logopäd:innen und Ärzt:innen, die Säuglinge, Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene mit Zerebralparese oder anderen zentral bedingten Bewegungsstörungen sowie Entwicklungsverzögerungen betreuen.
SAKENT/ASEND ist zudem dafür zuständig, die Fortbildung der Bobath-Lehrtherapeut:innen sowie die Ausbildung neuer Bobath-Lehrtherapeut:innen sicherzustellen, um den Fortbestand der Bobath-Ausbildung in der Schweiz zu gewährleisten.
Die Therapeut:innen und Lehrtherapeut:innen, die die Bobath-Ausbildung durchführen, sind Mitglieder der Schweizer Ausbildeorganisation (National Tutor Organisation NTO) und von der EBTA zertifiziert, was eine Qualitätsgarantie für den Unterricht darstellt und die Akkreditierung des ausgestellten Ausbildungszertifikats ermöglicht.
The “Bobath Baby” training programme enables participants to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required to provide therapeutic support for infants and babies up to the age of 18 months who present with sensorimotor developmental disorders and/or are at risk of neurological developmental delays.
This is a baby- and family-centred approach based on clinical reasoning inaccordance with the NDT-Bobath concept. This concept is founded on the observation and analysis of the baby’s sensorimotor behaviour, its impact on the baby’s ability to interact with their environment, and its implications for other aspects of their development.
This is a highly practice-oriented course with a solid theoretical foundation based on the latest knowledge in the fields of child development, motor behaviour, learning theories, biomechanics and neuroscience.
Successful completion of the training qualifies participants to provide therapeutic care for babies, from newborns up to 18 months of age, in accordance with the criteria of the European Bobath Tutors Association (EBTA).

Block 1: 29., 30., 31. January and 1. February 2027 at CHUV, Lausanne
Block 2: 5., 6., 7. and 8. March 2027 at cabinet Pôle Enfants, Payerne
Block 3: 30.4. and 1., 2., 3. May 2027 at cabinet Pôle Enfants, Payerne
Language:
Themain language of instruction will be determined by the preference of themajority of participants in between English or French. Translation can beprovided, if necessary, in German and English /FrenchWrittenassignments may be completed in French, German or English.
Target audience:
Physiotherapists,occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and medical doctors.
Costs:
CHF 3'400.- for non-members
CHF 3'200.- for members SAKENT/ASEND (collective or individual member)
